Hey all,

Well, the holidays came and went in a blink. I worked extra. Retail is always crazy this time of year. It’s just now slowing back down. A mostly nice holiday was had by all. Except all the Littles got sick so we were unable to have a full get together. I have nine gifts waiting, sometime soon hopefully. The New Year blew in cold and hard. It was pouring rain and the wind really whipped up. Usually I can read the energy, but this year I was unable. We’ll see. It’s started off nice.

Twenty twenty-four was by no means a bad year for me personally. The universe did throw some tests my way, but I fumbled through them and passed. It’s kind of funny how that works, isn’t it?

In the world of writing, I’m back at it, trying to shape this book into something special. The world is a literal dumpster wildfire right now. I’m sticking my head in the proverbial sand, and focusing on the good things I can find.

I’ve gone down a rabbit hole and now I’m about to create a sourdough starter, because who doesn’t want fresh bread? Is it a fluke? I like to think not. I even have a cute name for it. I’m holding pulling the trigger though. I’m afraid, I’ll start and then not be that into it, and what a waste of time and effort. I’ll keep you updated if I follow through. Guess my cute name. If I told you IRL that doesn't count.

I read so many books, the trouble was I forgot to note them in any of my apps. I need to do better with that. Well…I’m rambling now. This is just a quick catch up. I’ll be back soon with more. Thank you for reading. I appreciate the time you take to follow along. Love you all.

I know, I know, I missed a week, trust me it doesn't sit well with me either. Plus the week prior I was late. But I'm going to explain. Three weeks back, my younger son began driving school. My youngest daughter started softball at the beginning of April, and my oldest son graduates from high school next Saturday.

So the last few weeks have been super busy. I put six hundred miles on my car all in local running. This go...go...go has affected me. I am sorry for being absent.  Although, I have had the opportunity to get some reading done while waiting.

I have finished "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green. I originally bought it for my daughter to read prior to the movie coming out. After she finished it, I read it. I highly recommend this book.

Just before that I finished a book titled, Tell the Wolves I'm Home, by Carol Rifka Brunt. This one was interesting. The first half was slow, but the second half was pretty amazing. Plus I have just started, I Am Not Myself These Days, Josh Kilmer Purcell, which came highly recommended.

So I am still here, still plugging away just crazy busy. School is out shortly and with that all the busy ends. So just know that soon, I'll be back regularly to bug all of you. Yay me.... ;)
