This is thoroughly bizarre and I have to blog about it. I was working on the story that you read the snippet of, when lo' and behold this other idea blindsided me. A novel length story not a short story. The idea, and the plot, keep growing in my head. The story won't leave me alone.
Intuition tells me that I need to pay attention, so I am going to make a judgment call and shelve the Muse story for a short time while I flesh out this idea. This has never actually happened before so I am in unknown territory. *shrugs* Well I'll make the best of it....

Writing update - What should I be doing?
