If you care to read the above post
first, just click the live link, this post will make a lot more sense. The link works. I was going to share it on the Monday directly after, but I had fiction to share, instead. Last month the 13th marked five years to
the day of devastation. I haven't really spent much time posting about it in
the intervening years. Instead I have spent my time growing and learning.
I try not to focus much at all on the past. I choose instead
to focus on being in the present, which outside of finding employment, I am
learning is a joyous experience. I have come so far in learning what love and
friendship really look like.
I am still growing, I never plan to stop, growth is part of
our journey. Plus I have a lot of stories left to tell. I'm sorry this one is a
short post, but I do have some good news to share.
I submitted a short story to a Literary Review seeking stories
involving their prompts. I hope at some future point to have some good news to
share. It won't pay, but it will be my second publishing credit, if they enjoy
it as much as the people that read it and helped make it shiny.
