The Write Life

Seducing hearts, one story at a time, Author - Crystal R. Martin

2014 has made it's joyous arrival. We've all looked to the future and begun to plan. Me by setting two writing goals, to make the year a fulfilling one. I may add more as I am inspired.

By sharing them here publicly it makes me accountable at least in my mind. First it is my biggest most important goal to be writing more fiction. I haven't planned how to manage this, but I'm working on it.

Second, I plan to write a blog post a week. Fifty-two to be exact. This one being number one leaves me with fifty one more to write. My plan is to share fiction as well as personal life stuff, because that creates a depth I think is important.

For those who may have read my year in review post one of the questions was what was the best movie you saw of 2013. I answered that it was a toss up, between Thor Dark World, and preparing to see The Hobbit Desolation of Smaug. I actually finally got to see The Hobbit on what would have been Tolkien's 121 birthday, or Fri. Jan 3th, 2014.

I now want to clarify my answer. The Hobbit wins hands down. Keep in mind, I am not a purist. I know many were put out by little things, but this movie for me, reminded me why I love fantasy. :)
