Hi All,

Is Mercury Retrograde being kind to you? This is a surprise to me as well. This cycle has been rather weird. I am much more self-aware this round. I am experiencing two things. One, the types of things that trigger me, and two not falling into the trap of spiraling, rather, I am just letting those feelings/emotions go.

In my last update I forgot to mention that I finally succeeded in making sour dough successfully. It was very tasty. I also made apple butter and blackberry freezer jam this year, for the first time. Yummy doesn’t do it justice. My plate was filled by all things made by these two hands. Joy abounds. (Yes, it still feels selfish but also it feels revolutionary. They want us upset and angry, so joy is resistance!)

In other news I was recently able to travel to see family. We relaxed and just enjoyed the company. It soothed my soul in the best way. My Sagittarius moon loves to travel. Thanksgiving is just over a week away. Where has this year gone?

In writing news, I’ve had a brilliant flash. I haven’t been writing because of the block. I realized I should write a Christmas story, just to break through the block. A fan-fiction rom-com to return to my roots. Wish me luck. I am excited to say the least.

I have a lot on my plate, but with some good planning, I should be able to read, write, and work.  Let’s hope… As always, I love you all. Keep reading, writing or whatever you do passionately.

Hey all,

Well, the holidays came and went in a blink. I worked extra. Retail is always crazy this time of year. It’s just now slowing back down. A mostly nice holiday was had by all. Except all the Littles got sick so we were unable to have a full get together. I have nine gifts waiting, sometime soon hopefully. The New Year blew in cold and hard. It was pouring rain and the wind really whipped up. Usually I can read the energy, but this year I was unable. We’ll see. It’s started off nice.

Twenty twenty-four was by no means a bad year for me personally. The universe did throw some tests my way, but I fumbled through them and passed. It’s kind of funny how that works, isn’t it?

In the world of writing, I’m back at it, trying to shape this book into something special. The world is a literal dumpster wildfire right now. I’m sticking my head in the proverbial sand, and focusing on the good things I can find.

I’ve gone down a rabbit hole and now I’m about to create a sourdough starter, because who doesn’t want fresh bread? Is it a fluke? I like to think not. I even have a cute name for it. I’m holding pulling the trigger though. I’m afraid, I’ll start and then not be that into it, and what a waste of time and effort. I’ll keep you updated if I follow through. Guess my cute name. If I told you IRL that doesn't count.

I read so many books, the trouble was I forgot to note them in any of my apps. I need to do better with that. Well…I’m rambling now. This is just a quick catch up. I’ll be back soon with more. Thank you for reading. I appreciate the time you take to follow along. Love you all.
