The Write Life

Seducing hearts, one story at a time, Author - Crystal R. Martin

Hey it's been awhile hasn't it? I know that's not an excuse, but I've had too much on my plate. I last posted here in August of 2011. Well in October life brought unexpected sadness. My mother got very ill and ended up in the hospital. She stayed there for around three weeks, and then November 6th she went home to be with the Lord. The last year plus a little has been exhilarating and terribly lonely in different ways. I miss her so much that I can't even put it into words. I promise to be better about keeping this up. Since life fell apart in 2009 I have been reweaving the fabric of my life to suit the life I want. I hope this makes sense. For the longest time my muse disappeared, and I seriously wondered if I would ever hear that voice again. It was one of my deepest fears. I am happy to share that very recently the missing muse has returned from an extended vacation. I hope someday to ask her about that period. I am sure there is a lovely story in explaining her absence. Well enough for now, I just wanted to let you all know that I am still living, learning and forging my path.
