The Write Life

Seducing hearts, one story at a time, Author - Crystal R. Martin

Today I want share with you my thoughts on what’s going wrong in this world. It’s a four letter word, and it’s my kryptonite. The word is h-a-t-e- I won’t give it the power it so craves by even saying it.

Yes I know there are deeper issues at play, wars, governments, tyranny, climate change, lack of food and water, greed, pollution. All kinds of problems exist to make the situation that much worse. Extremist terrorists are also a part of this world. They wreak havoc; they create and spread fear and hate.

It’s everywhere. It’s easy to see, and experience. Let’s blame the Muslims, let’s blame the blacks, let’s blame Native Americans, and blame the refugees.

I don’t want to be scared, I don’t want to blame, I don’t want to point fingers, and I choose to love everyone. This morning I lit a candle so that whatever I do today, I can reflect love and light out into the world. I know this seems over simplified, but I truly believe it helps.

I hope as you are out in the digital world, you think about this before posting more hate/fear-mongering posts on Social Media sites. We should be as mirrors and reflect what we hope to see in others. [End-Rant] I hope you heard the Mic drop there, it was epic here. ;)  Next week I will share something more mundane, but this needed saying.

Seems like the more we try to spread this message the more that four letter word that you refuse to say comes to the forefront. The darkside will always push that agenda of hate. It seems to be all they have and understand. Sad state of affairs on this old rock when so many souls are driven by fear.

It's not a rant dear, I'm with you on this. Violence begets violence, neverending. It scares the hell out of me that there are people who kill like this. So much anger, so much violence, and so many pointless blame games. Tolerance and love. Let's start from inside and spread outside. Gratitude and love to you.
