The Write Life

Seducing hearts, one story at a time, Author - Crystal R. Martin

    Hi Darlings,

Crazy week huh? A lot is going on. I guess it’s okay to talk about it now. I’m moving. I haven’t moved in a few years, so packing has been crazy, realizing how much I have. I’m carefully culling as I go, for the most part. I have a big tub that I’m using to hold the donations. All this along with working, and trying to write, there are only so many hours in each day.

I am excited for tomorrow. It’s my big “religious” holiday, in other words, Pagan Pride. We are leaving in the morning. I look forward to seeing a few faces. You know who you are. Anyway, in Portland Or. Pagan Pride is held annually at Oaks Amusement Park. A delicious break from packing, and fun to be had, and vendors to see.

On the writing front, I keep plodding/plotting forward. Forgive me my pun. I do love a good one. The story progresses slowly. I look forward to finishing it by the years end. September is being difficult, but I refuse to be down-trodden.

Where’s my neurospicy people at? I have a little something for you all. I don’t know about you, but I get hooked into foods. Awhile back it was croissants for example, I was eating them daily. But I realized I have to do better. The Dr. told me to follow the Mediterranean Diet. She also recommended I eat oatmeal. Oats are good for a number of things. Well in exploring options, I found nirvana in a food. I don’t eat breakfast normally, and now I wake up excited to eat. I prepare it the night before, so it is ready, whenever I am. I find the ease, the flavor, the texture, all to be perfect. I’m gonna share my process with you below.

I’m going to stop rambling here, and call it a wrap. Remember comments are gold, recipes are ALWAYS welcomed, outside of liver and onions, cottage cheese, and mushroom anything. Love to you all.
